Voices
Click on the series titles below to read Voices which are not blogs but edited essays and poems whose purpose is to share meaningful, thoughtful stories on direct caregiving experiences, observations about the uniqueness and diversity of caregivers, or insight from professionals who serve caregivers and care recipients. Voices use the voice of one to speak to many and incorporate image, analogy, and metaphor. We currently feature seven different title series.
Reflections
Reflections is a collection of photographic images by photographers Sherry Day, Krzysztof Aniolczyk, and Harold Cole which seek to capture the power and depth of the care-pair relationship. The photos reveal those qualities of the caregiving relationship which are impossible to see during the day-to-day complexities of caring. This body of images have themes of Gimme a Kiss, Exchange, a collection of images of simply holding hands, and Dynamic Duos.
